WILW

I'm linking up with Jamie again for what I'm loving Wednesday!
Here's what I'm loving this Wednesday :)

I'm Loving... That my Ducks play in 3 days! This game can either make or break (not too bad though) our entire season. I'm really nervous about this game.. but I'm even more excited!
Got my "Are You Duck Enough" Spirit t-shirt and everything!
GO DUCKS!

The SEC team we beat last year.. let's see if we can make it 2-3 in the last 2 years.

I'm loving... my bff. We haven't seen each other much lately, but I love how when we do hang out, we haven't missed a beat. And the fact that I can completely relax when hanging out with her. We went school supply shopping (for her kiddos) and then we both fell asleep watching spongebob.. seriously, I couldn't ask for a better best friend.

I'm Loving..The cooler weather at night. It makes it easy to fall asleep when drops 40 degrees after dark. I slept like a baby.
I'm Loving...My God. He's pretty awesome and he's pulled me through some rough times. I wouldn't be who I am today without Him. Word of advice though, if you don't want to be tested, don't EVER pray for patience. Just sayin'.

I'm Loving... the short drive to work. I have filled my gas tank once since I moved. Living in P-ville, I had to fill it every 4 days. Thank God for a 14 minute drive. :)

Monday Pinterests!

Maybe change isn't so scary after all?

Especially when you're not moving and you trip.
That's the best.

Breathe. Just breathe.

My favorite dog breed. I want one.
Or two.
<3

It's even harder knowing when to finally let go.

If you see this guy, send him my way ;)

Oregon <3
The very bottom of the heart is about right where I live too :)

Too freakin' cute for words!

And of course, with football only 5 days away I had to add this guy.
(Don't mind the creepy fans in the background.. it was Halloween)

Oh Happy Day!

First off, I'm going to do a little shout out to my mom and my step dad, Scott. It's their 5 year anniversary! So Happy Anniversary you two! Here's to 5 more! :)

I mentioned in my previous post that I was in the process of moving, and that was about a week ago. I moved last Thursday night and have worked everyday but Sunday and today since then. So this is really the first chance I've had to fill you in. As promised, I took some pictures! (Lucky you!)

This is my room. It's a LOT bigger than my old room so I was pretty excited about it.

Don't judge me :)

After all of the moving we decided we needed a girls night which included the following:

My first Strawberry Daiquiri. Yum!

We thought it was funny that our drinks matched our phones.
(Weird that my phone isn't green, right?)

Sarah likes rubbing people's feet. She's crazy.
And I actually let her rub mine.
Crazy right?!?!

My mommy killed Sarah.
Er.. popped her back. She only looks dead :)

Saturday night we decided that we needed another night off.
So we set off to find some Karaoke.
After the first bar was a bust, we found the one.

Sarah had a few.
I had to be up early (6:00) the next morning so I just had a strawberry lemonade.
I actually wasn't sure about doing Karaoke.
Until I saw my name scroll across the screen.
So I figured I better find a song.
And went to one I could do in my sleep.
"Just a small town girl, livin' in a lonely world, she took the midnight train goin anywhere!"

We went to the store to get some household items, and for some reason this just tickled me.
The KY naughty jelly's were under the "Family Planning" sign.

And last but not least, the best find of the night:

Chocolate and Oregon Ducks.
What more could a girl ask for?
8 Days! :)

What I'm Loving Wednesday!

It's time to link up with Jamie on this beautiful Wednesday!
Here are some things that I'm loving!

I'm Loving.. that football season is so close that I can taste it!
The cups for fountain drinks have O's on them and it makes me OH so happy :)

I'm Loving.. That even though I only started packing yesterday.. I'm almost done!
Tonight is my last night living in P-ville. Kinda bittersweet.

I'm Loving... This song. The harmonies, and just everything.
It's my new favorite song.. check it out :)

I'm Loving.. That I got to spend some time with my adorable niece and nephew!
Kids really do say the cutest things.
Natalie: "My mom is your sister right? No, wait, let me guess.. your birth sister?" :)
Carter: "Truman looks like Barack Obama with that [flag] collar on!"
My sister makes cute babies.

(This picture makes me happy cause their mom is a beaver fan :))

I'm Loving... changes! Sometimes changing isn't fun, but I'm really looking forward to the big changes coming my way real soon.

What are you loving today?

How Pinteresting :)

I am addicted to Pinterest.
Seriously, if you haven't checked it out, do it.
It's awesome.
Here are some of my finds :)

I so want to make these for a football game sometime!

"Just a small town girl, livin' in a lonely world, she took a midnight train goin' anywhere."

Totally looks like Uno and Masoli :)
Kitty love!

So true..

I'm going to need one of these when I have babies.
Just sayin'.

Haha every single night!

This makes me giggle :)

:-D

Mooooving!

I'm moving this Friday! Granted it's only 18 miles away, I'm moving away from my P-ville peeps. Which makes me a little sad.

BUT I'm so excited to be closer to school and work. It was getting really annoying having to drive 2 hours everyday to get to work and sitting for 8 hours during work.. That's 10 hours of non-stop sitting! Too much!

I just started packing today. I'm such a slacker. I don't have much, so that makes it easy, but still... and instead of packing, I'm blogging right now. Go figure!

I'm so excited for a change. I might have hated moving growing up (this will be the 17th house I've lived in... I'm 21.. you do the math) but now I get antsy after a while and CRAVE a change. Hopefully I'll grow out of it later on, but who knows. Maybe I'll live all over the country :)

Anywho, I just wanted to update you on what was going on over here in the NW. I'll take pictures of moving day :) Maybe. We'll see. Hope you all have a great week! <3

Happiness

Happiness is just outside my window
I thought it'd crash, blowing eighty miles an hour
But happiness is a little more like knocking
On your door, you just let it in

Happiness feels a lot like sorrow
Let it be, you can't make it come or go
But you are gone, not for good but for now
And gone for now feels a lot like gone for good

Happiness is a firecracker sitting on my headboard
Happiness was never mine to hold
Careful child, light the fuse and get away
Cause happiness throws a shower of sparks

Happiness damn near destroys you
Breaks your faith to pieces on the floor
So you tell yourself that's enough for now
But happiness has a violent roar

Happiness, it's like the old man told me
Look for it and you'll never find it all
But let it go, live your live and leave it
Then one day you'll wake up and he'll be home

Home, he'll be, he'll be, he'll be home
He'll be home, he'll be home, he'll be home
He will be home, he'll be home, he'll be home
He'll be home, He'll be...

REO Speedwagon

Although this was my second time seeing them, I absolutely loved it. I felt a little inspired to do something that I had been wanting to do for months after they did one of my favorite songs (I Can't Fight This Feelin'). It was scary, but ultimately I'm glad I did it. I have a little closure. Though it's not on good terms really, I have some closure. Finally.

My mom is terrified of heights. I mean REALLY scared. She doesn't even like bleachers because she can see through the steps and it freaks her out. But I got her to ride the Ferris Wheel with me at the fair. Other than when Kori was moving, she did pretty good. It was a big accomplishment for her. We both faced some fears. Honestly, I'm feeling better. Tonight was a good night.Too bad I have to work tomorrow. Sad day. Here are some pictures from the evening :)

This is what happens when you give me some lip gloss.
It makes my lips look even bigger and I HAVE to make kissy faces ;)

 How you doin'?

Don't mind the tear.. my eye was watering.
Oh, and a friend on facebook said "your hair brings out your pretty blue eyes!"
That's all nice and stuff.. but my eyes are green...

This is what happens when I'm ready before everybody else.
I take ridiculous pictures of myself.
RAWRRR<3

Before the big trip up the Ferris Wheel.
We actually got stuck at the top.. it was AWESOME. :)

Fear

I have one of the most irrational fears in the world. Okay.. maybe it's not technically a "fear" but it's an intolerance and it makes me scream like a girl. What is this object that will put me in the fetal position, you ask?

Cotton balls.

I'm not even kidding.

It's unfortunate really, but even thinking about it makes me cringe.

If it touches my hand, or any part of my skin really, it makes me clench my jaw, gives me goosebumps and just plain wigs me out.

I can't explain why, it's just something that's been happening for as long as I can remember. I'm not the only one though. My brother is the exact same way. I mentioned this "fear" to my mom and guess what she did...

She threw cotton balls on both of us. I let it sit there on my pants. I was not touching it. I actually got a tissue to grab it so I wouldn't have to touch it.

Yes people, this is for real.

My name is Brittany, and I'm afraid of cotton balls.

Just Can't Get Enough

Oh my goodness. That's really all I can say.  I have been SO BUSY this summer, it's ridiculous. I'm really glad I didn't take any classes over the summer. I would be EXHAUSTED.. well.. more exhausted than I am right now! I feel like I'm always on the go. Probably because I am, but that's totally besides the point. Lets see if I can fill in the blanks a little bit for you.

I'm currently working 32-40 hours a week so my social life is almost non existent. I haven't seen my best friend in almost two weeks. That's just not okay!

I participated in the Relay for Life last weekend, and I actually got my brother to come up and do it with me. I got off work last Saturday at 9 PM, got into town at 10 PM and headed down to the track. We started our portion of the walk at 12:00 AM. We walked off and on until 4:00 AM. It was honestly fun walking with my brother. I ended up walking 5 miles. Which was pretty good, because when we were walking we would keep stopping for random things.. and I would get attacked by huge killer moths. Anyway, it was fun and it was for a great cause. The luminary was very emotional though. I looked at all the bags that were lit up for people who lost the battle to cancer, and it broke my heart thinking about all of the lives cancer has touched in my community alone. It's really upsetting.

They put bags in the bleachers and lit them. This is what it said.
My brother and I on the "luau" lap :)

I'm also moving this month. I haven't started packing, which is bad because I'm moving on the 18th. I'm moving only 20 minutes away, but I'll only be 15 minutes from school/work rather than an hour. So I'm definitely excited about that!

I got a bonus at work too. I met my "quota" and my check was actually $200 more this paycheck. It actually came at the perfect time since I'm moving and have bills to pay. God is definitely clearing a path for me to move!

Tonight I'm going to an REO Speedwagon concert with a couple of friends and my mom and Scott. I've already seen them in concert, but I love me some cheesy 80's music. I'm really excited, actually! I'll take some pictures and share them tomorrow.. maybe.

My sister and her three beautiful kiddos are coming to visit tomorrow. I have to work, but hopefully I'll get some time to see them. Then the two older kiddos are staying with us for a week. I'm excited to see them. They're pretty great :)

I really honestly don't know what else is going on in my life right now. My mind is chaos. It's a big jumbled mess! But that's alright. I'm enjoying life and that's what it's all about right? I have absolutely nothing to complain about. Well.. maybe one thing.

I mentioned earlier that I love cheesy 80's music.. well I have a favorite band. And that band is Def Leppard. I've loved them since before I could even talk. Sometimes younger musicians try to remake their songs, and to be honest.. it ticks me off. Mariah Carey butchered one of their songs a few years ago, and I can't look at her the same since then. I just heard a new version of "Photograph" by Daughtry and Santana.. I hate it. Don't try to remake the classics. You're not them. So stop trying. Thanks ;)

That's all for today. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! <3
